Weather - In Chicago the summers are warm
and enjoyable. The days are perfect beach weather
and it’s cool in the evenings for strolls through
the city. Summer is a comfortable time of the year
to visit and sightseeing is at its best. Lots of outdoor
activities take place by the shore in the summer months
which also makes it a good time to visit.
Chicago Fall brings the cooler temperatures
and breezes that pick up along the shoreline. Be sure
to bring a jacket and warmer clothing especially if
you plan to do a lot of sight seeing. You’ll
want to be dressed for the time of year to keep warm
so you don’t have to call the day short.
Chicago Winters are cool and windy.
Protective covering is necessary. Bring hats, gloves
and heavy coats as well as boots so you can still
see the sites and keep warm. The snow and ice can
dampen even the most outdoorsy person so if your travelling
during the winter be to sure to plan a lot of indoor
activities, you won’t want to stay out to long
in the cold winter months.
Chicago Spring is a wonderful time
of the year to visit the Chicago area. The flowers
are in bloom and the temperatures warmer spring brings
lots of visitors to the area. You still need to bring
warmer clothing so you don’t freeze while sightseeing.
The winds can still be gusty in the springtime in
Chicago.

in mind, the temperatures range throughout the year,
but are in sync and even a bit milder than most of
